What is Hypnosis?
Simply put, Hypnosis is a state of openness or receptivity to ideas, concepts, suggestions or images. We all go into a form of hypnosis, naturally, every night when we put ourselves to sleep. When induced by a trained expert it results in a deeply relaxed, yet focused and alert state of mind where almost anything becomes possible. It is the most effective, and by far the most empowering way, of dependably gaining access to the subconscious images and archetypal forms within the deeper areas of our mind.
What to expect
Deep relaxation and a wandering, drifting of your conscious attention is the most universal characteristic of the hypnotic state. Although everyone experiences hypnosis a little differently, most feel their senses become more acute, while their body feels deeply still, calm, and at ease. You will always be in control throughout the entire session, able to move or speak freely, although most subjects choose to quietly listen and allow the process to unfold effortlessly. You will always leave the session feeling better than you felt when you arrived, taking the insights and changes gained during the session with you. There is no aspect of human life that cannot be positively influenced by the power of the subconscious mind.
How do I know if Hypnotherapy is for me?
Hypnotherapy is for everyone, because hypnosis is a natural state of mind that we all can enter as long as we are willing.
